“Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.”

Bessel A. van der Kolk

“Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence. Not only can trauma be healed, but with appropriate guidance and support, it can be transformative.”

Peter A. Levine

“The essence of trauma is disconnection from the self.”

Gabor Maté

“The state of our nervous system forms the foundation of our experience of the world – understanding and regulating it is the key to healing.”

Stephen Porges

“Trauma is the hidden architect of our societies. When we understand and integrate it, we can unlock incredible human potential.”

Thomas Hübl

“The spontaneous movement in all of us is toward connection, health, and aliveness. No matter how withdrawn and isolated we have become, or how serious the trauma we have experienced, on the deepest level, just as a plant spontaneously moves toward sunlight, there is in each of us an impulse moving toward connection and healing.”

Laurence Heller

“Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.”

Who are we?

Our team consists of Boryana Nikolova-Momerin, Milena Nenova, and Natalia Nikolova. We are a team of psychotherapists trained in various therapeutic modalities and come together in the field of integrating systemic approaches with contemporary body-oriented therapeutic methods such as Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), and others.

What do we do?

By organizing and conducting professional training in Bulgaria in methods like SE™, NARM, and similar approaches, as well as various advanced seminars and programs, we aim to create a community of professionals who support people’s resilience, encourage personal development, and foster healthy relationships.
BISE offers educational programs and seminars focused on trauma stress prevention and trauma treatment. In this way, we support the stability and prosperity of individuals, families, and communities.

Our programs range from three-year training courses that prepare professionals from various fields to work with post-traumatic stress, to short introductory courses and weekend seminars.

The specialized classes and short seminars are available to all those who have completed the introductory course and offer advanced training on different topics. The educational programs are based on simple and applicable principles with proven effectiveness in working with traumatic stress.

We strive to create a safe learning environment together, where the individuality of the participants is valued, and where interest in others and live communication is encouraged.

Welcome!
