Introductory Course in the Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) Method

This two-day course serves as an introduction to the SE™ method and is suitable for professionals from various fields.

Each participant in the introductory course will gain practical skills and techniques that can be applied immediately, both for personal use and in their professional practice, to support the regulation of their own nervous system and that of their clients.
Skills are developed step by step through theory, demonstrations, and exercises in a safe and supportive environment, ensuring a smooth and effective approach to working with the nervous system.

The SE™ method offers a new understanding of trauma and its effects, based on Dr. Peter Levine’s observations of wild animals. Despite frequently encountering life-threatening situations, animals do not experience trauma in the same way humans do. The encouraging conclusion is that our own bodies have innate mechanisms for recovery and resilience, and SE™ is designed to activate these mechanisms.
