Institute for
Somatic
Education

The mission of our Bulgarian Institute for Somatic Education (BISE) is to support the well-being of individuals. We achieve this by applying, promoting, and organizing training in two innovative therapeutic methods: Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) and the Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM).
Working with internationally educated, highly trained instructors and therapists, BISE offers professional training opportunities in the SE™ and NARM methods in Bulgaria. Our objective is to organize seminars for specialists, as well as introductory courses and meetings with experts, aimed at anyone interested in mental health and the well-being of individuals, groups, and communities.

Here, you will find training in some of the most effective, tried-and-tested, body-oriented approaches to preventing, treating, and working with trauma available in Bulgaria.

Our programs are based on the principles of nervous system regulation, the healing power of genuine connection, and the application of polyvagal theory, all of which have proven successful in addressing complex cases of traumatic stress.

These approaches can easily be integrated into the professional practices of a wide range of professionals and will lead to significant positive outcomes.

Methods
What is Somatic Experiencing® (SE™)?
Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) is an innovative method for alleviating the physical, psychological, and emotional effects of acute and chronic stress, as well as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It is an early-intervention approach developed by Dr. Peter Levine that provides support soon after a traumatic event to help regulate the nervous system, prevent long-term distress, and promote resilience.

What is the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)?
The NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) is a pioneering therapeutic approach that addresses complex trauma. The main areas NARM focuses on are attachment and personal growth traumas, which lead to long-term psychobiological symptoms and interpersonal difficulties.
Какво е NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)?
